The National Forest Service plans to round up one thousand of the four thousand wild horses from the Devils Garden Plateau Wild Horse Territory inside the Modoc National Forest. Many of these magnificent animals will be made available to Canadian slaughterhouses for the cost of 1 dollar per horse if the are not adopted within 30 days of the round up. Please be aware that slaughter buyers and ‘rescue posers’ who are also slaughter buyers will come in in droves to claim these horses.

Rescues must have REFERENCES and 501 (c3) status or the equivalent thereof. If you have not yet received your letter but have filed all the appropriate documentation, please DO reach out to us — we want to assist you.
